I am so excited to be featuring my new stamp set, Be the Rainbow, and my sister Hannah’s new set, Massive Peony.

I designed this set to use with encouragement cards. The rainbow is a symbol of hope, and combined with these phrases and sayings, this set will make the most perfect cards for people in your life who are hurting or going through something difficult. I can already think of some people who could use an encouragement card with this set.

One of my favorite card making techniques is pattern stamping. On this card, I repeatedly stamped the small rainbow in this amazing GKD color palette.

The colors I used are Grass Green, Sea Glass, Tranquil Teal, Tomato Soup, and Innocent Pink.

This is one of my favorite hand lettered sentiments in the set. It’s such a good reminder to look for the rainbows in every day, even the cloudy days. Although, I will admit that cloudy days are my favorite. Give me a cloudy day, a lit candle, my favorite podcast, and I’ll get all sorts of things done!

This card uses the GKD stamp set, Tiny Textures. The greeting is “Wishing you every shade of happy”, and I instantly thought I’d paint swatches in different colors. This swatch stamp worked perfectly!

Sticking with the rainbow theme, I free-handed this rainbow in watercolor over the heat embossed hand lettered greeting.

Just because the set is rainbow themed, doesn’t mean it needs to be rainbow colored. I love this neutral rainbow look too.

Now this little card took some time. I used a t-square ruler to perfectly line up the little ‘prayers’ stamp and did pattern stamping with the exact same color palette as the first card.

I have been practicing my watercolor lately, and I have been having so much fun painting patterns. I painted several and turned them into cards by pairing them with greetings from my set!

Aren’t these so fun and bright? It is so much fun to paint a pattern and just add a little hand lettered sentiment.

This stunning floral masterpiece is by Hannah Drapinski. It is so much fun to color in any medium because it is so large! I used colored pencil on GKD Artist’s Choice card stock for this card.

isn’t this flower huge? And amazing? I’m in love.

I hope you were inspired by my cards today. Go do some crafting! After you place an order at Gina K. Designs first. 😉

I am so proud of this new stamp set, and I hope you all love it and create beautiful encouragement cards that make people smile in 2020.

Thanks for stopping by,

Emily <3
