Happy Friday! Today, the Concord & 9th Guest Design Team are featuring projects using the brand new ‘Pinata Party’ stamp and die set from the April Release. This little bundle is super cute and full of exciting possibilities. I always wanted a pinata for my birthday, and I never got one. I am reliving my childhood dreams through this stamp and die set.

Of course, I had to make a pinata! I almost used fringe for him, but instead I stamped the fringe-y stamp in the set in themed colors to go along with the paper pack (at least somewhat). I paired up two greetings for the front of the card. And there is my pinata. My future child will have a pinata for his birthday at some point! 😀

I wanted to make a teeny tiny card with the cute hat die, because it is such a nice focal image. Especially with a thousand tiny scalloped pieces of paper over it… I used the little scallop die in the set to cut out scalloped strips with the paper pack in the kit and add on pack. I originally cut about ten or twelve strips, thinking that would be enough. NO. There are more than thirty. Yikes. It took me a while, but it was kind of therapeutic and peaceful. Pop on a little poof for the top, and bam!  A party hat.

I am so loving this bundle. If I could craft all day, every day, I would be making way more pinata things. You could even use this set for some papercrafting (non card related) projects for a kids birthday party! Hmmmm….

Don’t forget about the amazing freebie items that Concord and 9th is offering during the month of April! The gorgeous Gem Dies are given for free for an order that is $60 or more and the Gem Turnabout Stamp is given in addition for an order $120 or more!
